Saioa López Briones
Saioa López Briones started studying ballet in her hometown in Spain. At 17 she moved to Madrid where she graduated in Ballet. She was a member of Ballet Carmen Roche, one of Spain’s most prestigious ballet companies. During this time, she was also a ballet teacher in SCAENA Conservatory. Saioa had a scholarship in Madrid Dance Center Project Company and she had the opportunity to work with different choreographers like Ivan Barreto, Fernando Lázaro, Tino Sánchez and Claudia Vogelsanger. She has performed with OUI Danse with Brice Mousset as artistic director, Periapsis Music and Dance, Oliva Contemporary Dance Project , as a guest artist for DeMa Dance Company, Alessandra Giamballi’s project, Dzul Dance Company with Javier Dzul as artistic director. She dances for Azul Dance Theatre with Yuki Hasegawa as choreographer and she is a member of BASO (Baila Society Sophistication in salsa). Saioa had a full scholarship in Peridance Capezio Center for her formation, where now she is part of the Peridance Contemporary Dance Company.
