Ahtoy & Edwin are teaching intermediate classes on Thursday nights at Ripley-Grier. “Intermediate Salsa” means that you know your basic figures “on 2” (basic, stationary turns, cross body lead with turns, open break figures) and a few variations of them. If you’ve been taking classes with BAILA Society, this class is one level up from the higher level class with Ahtoy on Saturdays.

Your instructors: Ahtoy & Edwin’s partnership began in 2017 under the mentorship of multi-dance champion Billy Fajardo. Between them, they have over 40 years of professional performance and teaching experience in salsa, Latin Hustle, Afro-Cuban Folklorico, adage/cabaret, ballroom, ballet, and contemporary dance. Throughout their partnership they have worked with The New York Movement, The Hustle Collective, and Team Fajardo. Recently, they became the 2022 World Latin Hustle Champions at The Summit. Ahtoy & Edwin are excited to begin teaching classes together and uniting their communities of students and friends to share their love of Salsa & Latin Hustle. They believe in creating a friendly and supportive learning environment and work hard to meet the individual needs of all their students.
