Class Description

Spinning, whether alone or with a partner, is a major component of NY Salsa on2. BAILA Society is glad to bring this intensive workshop on spinning for salsa dancers. The BASo spinning workshop will touch on balance, spotting,conditioning and various spinning techniques, while incorporating body mechanics and physics – and, making it all fun!

The first half of the class focuses on solo spins, the second half brings in partnerwork technique and hand positioning, using a series of turn drills designed to strengthen both male and female technique.

This workshop will cater to dancers of all levels.
